Distance Education Computer Requirements

Computer requirements for distance education can vary by course, by department, and/or by college. Start by answering the following three questions:

• Is the age of your computer 3 years or less? If not, you may need additional memory. Check computer support for more information.
• Do you have the latest version of your web browser? (Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer is preferred.)
• Do you know the speed of your computer? You may need this information before you can download some courses.
